Canonical CNAME
Domain Integrations
With all NextNet AI accounts, we create and host your Vector Sitemap and JWKS (jwks.json is a standardized JSON file that acts as a public repository for cryptographic public keys). You will now need to have them served on your website.
Canonical CNAME Update
To show these files canonically on within your domain, follow the below steps to Enable your Custom CNAME.
Click on the Integrations tab within Domains to show the section which starts with WordPress Integration.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the section Custom Subdomain and click on Enable Custom CNAME

Upon doing so, our platform will register space for your CNAME to serve the file. To complete this action, you will need to add three records into your DNS. As noted within the Domain Validation section, if you require assistance with this action, please contact our support team at support@app.nextnet.ai and our team will be happy to assist.
Three records to be created:
- CNAME Record (Traffic)
- Record Type: In this instance it would be CNAME
- HOST: vectors which would translate into vectors.domain.tld
- Value: vectors.nextnet.ai is where you want to point your record.
- TXT Record 1 (Hostname ownership verification)
- Record Type: In this instance it would be TXT
- HOST: _cf-custom-hostname.vectors
- Value: This will be custom for your domain
- TXT Record 2 (SSL certificate validation)
- Record Type: In this instance it would be TXT
- HOST: _acme-challenge.vectors
- Value: This will be custom for your domain
Once you have added these three records, click on Check Status

This may take up to 2 hours to validate.
Once validated, you will see this section in green.
