Removing a Domain from Your Account

If you have multiple websites or domains under one NextNet AI account, please follow these steps to manage your portfolio correctly and avoid unintentional service interruptions for your other properties.


Understanding Your Multi-Domain Subscription

It is important to understand how NextNet AI structures its "seats" before you make changes:

  • One Domain Per Subscription: Every subscription plan is tied to a single, specific domain.


  • Individual "Seats": If you are tracking multiple properties, each domain functions as a separate subscription seat.


  • Data Integrity: Removing a domain seat will stop the specific AIR scoring, citation tracking, and vector sitemap hosting for that individual URL.

How to Remove a Single Domain

To stop service for just one site while keeping your other domains active, follow these steps:

  1. Access "My Domains": Log in to the platform and navigate to the My Domains section in the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Select the Specific Domain: Locate the domain you wish to remove from your portfolio list.
  3. View Domain Details: Click on the Details button for that specific domain.
  4. Navigate to Settings: Within the domain tabs (Overview, Integrations, etc.), click on the Settings tab.
  5. Cancel the Individual Seat: Use the cancellation link within that domain's settings to be redirected to the Stripe Billing Portal.
  6. Confirm the Specific Item: Ensure you are only canceling the subscription "item" associated with that specific domain, rather than your entire Organization account.

Important Considerations


  • Partial Cancellations: By canceling only the specific domain seat, your other active domains will continue to receive AIR Score updates and Drift Index monitoring without interruption.


  • Vector Resources: Once a domain is removed and the subscription cycle ends, the platform will cease hosting your Vector Sitemap and JWKS files canonically for that domain.
