Case File

Case File

A Case File is the running record for one of your websites. It shows where things stand right now, what has changed, and what is recommended next. It gathers everything the platform knows about your situation in one place, so you do not have to piece it together from several screens.

What is in a Case File

  • Where We Are — a plain-English summary of your current standing.
  • Toward Goals — how your progress connects to the specific Goals you are tracking. See the Goals article for what a Goal is.
  • Risks — anything working against your progress right now.
  • Recommended Next — the platform's suggested next step, in plain language.

Case History

Every Case File keeps a history of checkpoints. These are earlier points in time you can open and compare against where things stand now. Use Case History when you want to see how your situation has changed, rather than only its current state.

Nothing is applied to your site from a Case File without you. A Case File explains and recommends. Carrying out a recommendation still goes through the same review as anything in Action Center — a person on your team or ours does the work.
