Domain Validation

Validating Your Domain

To Validate Your Domain you will need to go to the My Domain section of the application or simply go to https://app.nextnet.ai/user/domains

Click on Details for your domain to open up the sections underneath. Here you will want to click on Run All Checks

Doing so will allow you to move onto the next step to validate your domain for ownership.

Here you will need to click on the circled question mark on the Domain Ownership line to open the dialogue box to see the TXT you need to add to your DNS.

When the section expands it will look like this:

At this point you will need to send the TXT record to your admin or if you have access, make the changes yourself.

To do so you will login into your DNS manager, this may be your domain registrar or a 3rd party platform such as Cloudflare. If you have questions on where this should be updated, please reach out to our team at support@app.nextnet.ai and we would be happy to walk you through this process.

A TXT record consists of three main parts:

  1. Record Type: In this instance it would be TXT
  2. HOST: for the main domain it would be the domain or @ (for Cloudflare)
  3. Value: This is where you would input the Value record. For Cloudflare this would be the Content section

Example from Cloudflare:

Once you have clicked save, you may need to wait up to 30 minutes for the record to show properly.

Refresh the Domain Ownership section to have NextNet AI validate your domain ownership.

Once validated you will see this section turn green.

Your domain is now verified.
